Love, The Spells

7 Love Spell Herbs

The use of a love spell is one of the most ancient forms of magic.  The topic of “love” is searched the most on my site, so I’m sharing with you 7 classic love herbs/spices to add to your cupboard!

Roses

Long a symbol of love and passion, the ancient Greeks and Romans associated roses with Aphrodite and Venus, goddess of love.

Use dried or fresh, and in any spell for this purpose.

Basil

Strangely, this spicy smelling herb was originally associated with hatred for the Greeks and later the Romans.

Now, it is associated with love and used frequently in love spells.

Add basil to your spell to heal problems in existing relationships.

Basil also repels unwanted love interests!

Get to know this complex and versatile little herb for its unique properties.

Lavender

Just as Cleopatra used it to seduce her unsuspecting lovers, lavender is used to draw in a love interest with a love spell.

In the modern language of love, Lavender means “devotion and undying love.”

Add it to your bath, oils and anoint a candle to bring in the potential of love.

Cinnamon

If you are looking for a passionate love affair, cinnamon evokes an intoxicating romance.

Ruled by the Sun and Mars, cinnamon’s element is fire. Cinnamon invokes lust and is considered an aphrodisiac.

Cinnamon has the power to inspire relationships.

Rosemary

Rosemary is a protective herb, making it the ideal to use in love spells to guard yourself from getting hurt.

Making your potential lover dinner? Toss some rosemary in your main dish to keep your heart protected.

Patchouli

Patchouli produces lasting healthy relationships.

If you are looking to get married, patchouli helps you manifest marriage with a lifelong partner.

Make a sachet filled with patchouli for long-term love.

Ginger

Ginger promotes passion in a relationship.

Add it to your love spell bath salts.

Lemon

Tired of just being friends? Turn a friendship into love relationship with lemon.

Known for it’s happy traits, add lemon to your love spell on that best friend of yours that you want to have more.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg gives of a warming and lingering scent. When you need help with the awkwardness of new love, add nutmeg into your spells for the same effects.
